How do I advertise my vehicle?

Remember first that you’re dealing with someone like you, a consumer looking for a good deal, so, if you want to maximize the value of your car, make sure that your vehicle is as clean as possible inside out. Then sort out and compare similar cars considering their equipment and kilometres that you may find on the web in the same condition as yours. After this; ask yourself:

a) Do I feel that my car is special and of great value because of my good care and I’m ready to wait for that buyer who’s looking for that particular good car and willing to pay the right price?

b) Or, is my goal to sell it as quick as possible and ready to sacrifice by lowering my price to reach more potential buyers?

The answers to these questions should help you what the asking price should be, or ask MatchAutos.ca for assistance.

Also, disclose anything important that would need immediate attention and keep a written estimate of it. Your honesty will be much appreciated as he makes his purchase offer. Also, you will be asked if your vehicle was involved in an accident. If this is so, unless it is minor (bumpers, mirrors etc...), experience shows that it is wiser to mention it.

Finally, keep in mind that the buyer is under no obligation to take delivery of the vehicle if he finds any discrepancies (please read in the FAQ the last part under the heading ‘How do I make the right bid?’) or in contradiction with the accepted purchase agreement.
